Tôi đã quyết định rằng có thể chính ổ đĩa bút là nguồn gốc của sự cố nên tôi đã thay thế nó bằng một ổ đĩa bút khác và lặp lại các bước (định dạng thành FAT32, cài đặt Ubuntu có thể khởi động được với tệp casper-rw liên tục, xóa, tái định cỡ bằng cách sử dụng CD trực tiếp GParted và tạo một tên thư mục mới casper-rw).

Giải pháp (đối với tôi) khá đơn giản. Sử dụng Ubuntu 12.04 hoặc các phiên bản cũ hơn trên máy khác hoặc từ liveusb. Tôi đã có thể thu nhỏ phân vùng fat32 trên ổ đĩa ngón tay cái mà không gặp vấn đề gì.

Nếu mục tiêu là có một Ubuntu trực tiếp trên ổ đĩa flash với phân vùng liên tục, bạn thậm chí không cần CD Live Gparted. Bạn có thể thiết lập các phân vùng trước và sau đó cài đặt Ubuntu trực tiếp với usb-creator-gtk.
