Hãy thử khởi động một đĩa CD Linux trực tiếp hoàn toàn khác - tức là Fedora, Manjaro hoặc tương tự và kiểm tra xem đầu đọc có hoạt động ở đó không. Phải biết rằng bạn không biết là vấn đề khó khăn hay phần mềm. Nếu đầu đọc hoạt động trong một HĐH / Live CD khác thì rõ ràng đó là vấn đề phần mềm.
