Làm cách nào để UUENCODE hoạt động?

Tôi có một máy chủ mà tôi đã kế thừa đã cài đặt phiên bản Redhat cũ hơn do yêu cầu phần mềm và hiện tại cần phải sử dụng UUENCODE để cho phép đính kèm email. Các tập tin uuencodevà uudecodekhông có trong /usr/bin. Tôi đã thử sao chép chúng từ một máy chủ khác nhưng tôi gặp lỗi:

/lib64/tls/libc.so.6: phiên bản `GLIBC_2.4 'không được tìm thấy khi chúng tôi cố gắng chạy nó.

Có vẻ như tôi có thể cần phải cài đặt sharutils.rpm nhưng tôi không chắc chắn nên tải cái nào? Bất cứ ai cũng có thể chỉ cho tôi đến vòng tua chính xác để tải xuống hoặc một phương pháp thay thế để xử lý uuencode?
